Our university has achieved a significant milestone by ranking 5th among 105 Turkish universities in the Business, Management and Accounting field according to the SCImago Institutions Rankings 2026. SCImago is a respected evaluation platform that analyzes academic output using Scopus data, assessing publications based on citation counts, impact (Q1–Q4 quartiles), and prestige (SJR score) — making this result a strong indicator of our university’s scientific visibility in the field.
This achievement has been made possible through the collective contributions of the departments and academics within our Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. Several key factors have driven this rise in the rankings: a growing number of publications indexed in Web of Science and Scopus in recent years, an increasing diversity of contributing departments and researchers, and high-quality studies published in journals categorized under Business, Management and Accounting — particularly in the Q1 and Q2 quartiles — through an interdisciplinary approach.
